The Fay
2012 (currently being submitted to film festivals)
Drawing from ancient Celtic myth and medieval Arthurian romance, director Mark Bonocore weaves a tale of high adventure and sacrificial love, as a young knight is wounded in battle, only to be saved by the magical arts of a beautiful nymph, who saves his life, but then refuses to let him go. Like a pre-Raphaelite painting come to life, “The Fay” delivers stunning visuals, courtesy of cinematographer Gerardo Puglia, with additional photography by Leon Sanginiti and David Deneen.
I have also co-directed 8 short films myself (and hired musicians to score two of these films) so I can understand the scoring process from the director's point of view!
